7th November 2021 - “Remembrance Day Walk”
Starting at 3pm at the Green Shed
Balmoral Cemetery – Wynnum Road Morningside Brisbane
3 - 4.30pm Meet at the Green Shed (parking just inside the Wynnum Road Gate).
On 7th November, the Sunday before Remembrance Day, the Friends of Balmoral Cemetery are having a short walk and dedication of War Graves recently been completed for First World War Veterans previously buried in unmarked graves at Balmoral Cemetery.
We will be joined by the National Service Pipe Band and the Morningside Scouts will also be doing a special Scout service at the new grave of Walter Trevethan, former District Scout Master.
This year we will honour the following veterans:-

BYO - water, hat, sturdy shoes and sunscreen and practice COVID safe measures. This walk is on relatively flat terrain.
